A most difficult situation, trying to break free from such a fascination. Love will out in the end, however, I'm certain.

*frown* That's just like you, isn't it, to either end chapters in cliffys or heart-breaking scenes. And well....as for why I didn't go on here for so long....my excuse is on the review of your other story "He Just Doesn't Listen". I have several pieces of advice to give to several people: Advice #1: Aragorn, bring Legolas with you and GO TO RIVENDELL as fast as your feet can carry you! Seeing Legolas like that, with the stone's power burned into his soul is heart-breaking. Maybe then, at Rivendell, all the most powerful elves (e.g. Galadriel and Celeborn) should help Elrond with the healing (unless they've already left for Valinor. Well, actually, I've forgotten when this story takes place. Sorry! I can't help it! Waaaahhhhhhh!!! Advice #2: Treco, how do you plan on keeping the necklace for its beauty if you haven't even gotten it out of you yet? And when you have, maybe it isn't wise to keep it. Though you may be neither elven nor mortal, it still isn't a good thing. Who knows what'll happen with a dragon? And keep up with your soft-heartedness. It's good to be less stubborn. Which reminds me of stubborn, that leads me to the third piece of advice. Advice #3: Legolas, don't be so stubborn! Aragorn loves you, and if you keep being so stubborn and refusing his help, that's just bad! Well, except when you get stubborn and refuse to die, that is; that part is good. But don't be stubborn anytime else! Advice #4: To Ricard: find somebody to take care of Ravenlore for a while and go with Aragorn and Legolas to Rivendell. Oh yeah, and bring your four guards with you too. Being controlled by Allaura for that long isn't good. And one more thing. Don't bury that statue. Knock it down and let it crack. Seriously. Okay, I think that's all the advice I can give. I'm gonna read your newest story. I'm off now! Namarie! -Lady Saruman =) P.S. Since it took you so long, I'm not gonna give you your full share of Hershy's. But then again, since I delayed so badly, I will give you your full share of Hershey's. I'll forgive you if you forgive me. But from now on don't take that long anymore! Please! Author Reply: We seem to be trading being late. Ah well, RL can be a bugger. I like your organized pieces of advice. It's all nice and neat. 1. I already did that in "The Wrong Path”, so I wanted to do something different this time. I'm going to have Aragorn try something new. So there will be no Elrond or Galadriel or anyone else like that. You'll see. 2. Good luck on trying to separate a dragon from any of his jewels. He's not the least worried about the necklace, and I'm sure he's right. I think Treco will try to hide his soft-heartedness, but I htink he's ruined in that regard. :o) 3. Legolas is going to be stubborn, because that‘s part of who he is. But in this case, he can't help it. Poor baby. 4. Ricard thinks he will be all right now that Allaura is gone. I think he's right. I would like to see that stature turned to powder, but that is up to Ricard. Maybe he knows something we don't. Maybe it can't be destroyed, and he has to bury it. You are forgiven, now where's my chocolate!!! :o)

Legolas will come back--he MUST! Interested in seeing how you handle this. Author Reply: Are you so sure he will? I'll tell the plot bunny. I am, too. :o)

Sorry about going missing! RL unfortunately. But I'm back and planning to stay. I've brought a change of clothes so I hope you have a spare room! Poor Legolas! If anyone can sort him out then it is Aragorn of course. But it might be a long trip for both of them. I hope that we haven't seen the end of that pesky dragon, (even if we have in this story). Loved the differences you made in him. And like another of your reviewers I don't trust matching earrings not to have magic of their own. Be careful, Ricard. Be very careful. Author Reply: How well I know about RL and its tendency to interrupt our love of fanfiction. No spare room, but you can sleep on my sofa, if you're short. :o) I agree that Aragorn is the best one to help, and yes, it will be a very long trip. Treco may make an appearance in a future story, if he doesn't make it back in this one. You never know. Thank you. I'm glad you like him. We don't really know if the earrings have any power of their own. As far as we know they don't, but...

Poor Legolas. He has it bad. Aragorn is going to hurt for his friend. Especially when he has to get firm with him. I am glad Ricard can get on with his life. Now if Allura just stays dead. After all she still has the matching earrings. They just might have some magic too. Treco is funny. He is thinking totally different compared to most dragons. He will keep the necklace, now if someone doesn't stumble on it centuries in the future. Keep the story coming and update soon, please. Author Reply: Indeed he does. I agree. Tough love will be painful for both of them, vut Legolas needs that right now. I'm glad you like Ricard enough to want him to be happy. As for Allaulra, as far as we know the earrings have no power, but never say never. :o) Treco is funny, isn't he? I wanted to make him very different from Tolkien's dragons like Smaug. Oh dear, don't even think that. No one can ever find that awful necklace. Ever!!! More soon.
