Your last fan-fic for LOTR for a time? I grieve this is so, but rejoice that I had the chance to read it. And I look forward to the time you return and we read more. Thank you for so much. Author Reply: You're very welcome. Like Mr. Bond I'd say 'never say never again', but my mind's set on other subjects right now. I loved writing the stories you see posted on this site, but I can only write when my heart's with it. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Larner. - T.

What a great ending! "Though I must say that your mouth is still faster than you sword." My heart leaped when Aragorn finally told Daeven who he truly is. Such a proud moment (I feel like a mom just bursting with pride during a graduation ceremony trying to hold back the tears!) Daevan have come a long way. I'm glad he's decided to stay with Aragorn. Congratulations on your semi-final with "Castle"--love that story! Good luck with your other stories! I have no doubt you will aquire more fans! I do believe you have more ideas in that brilliant head of yours regarding my favorite Ranger. You did leave it with "Would I do you a favor if I recommend you to my old friend Halbarad to make a Ranger out of you?"

I was so very surprised and sad that this story came to such an abrupt end. I didn't expect it at all... :o( But I am glad that I overcame my instinctive dislike of AU stories, and gave yours a chance. I truly enjoyed it, and was always happy to see it updated. Though at times, I felt you leave all of the work for Daevan, and do not give our other hero enough credit, but then the whole story was more about Daevan, so I coul forgive that. :o) I hope we shall see more stories about him... As a Ranger! :oD

I just loved the ending to this story which caught me entirely by surprise as I feared it would be a "Goodbye, maybe we'll meet again one day" I like to imagine Daervan as one of Aragorn's Grey Company in LOTR. Good luck with your current projects!I hope one day you will write another LOTR story for you portray these characters, especially Aragorn,so beautifully.

Ah, the dwarves have their treasure and on their way home. Grima really is a slimeball. Good idea of Aragorn's to make Daevan a ranger, he will make a good one. Besides now that Strider, has let on who his is, better to keep an eye on him. The UPS man, heard all the rucus and made it out of Moria, he slipped past everyone. A passing troll told him that Strider could be found in the north. Actually the troll said " oh look lunch, I wonder if it is tasty". But trolls do mumble so! Since the package does contain a safety helmet, which Strider will need later on in the Two Towers, when he falls off a cliff, it is a good thing that the Ups man and his St Bernard, are still on the job. OK, on to other things, I loved this story, as I have loved your others, and do hope to see more from you again. Please!!!!! Author Reply: Grumpy, your ideas are simply wonderful! Thanks so much for your support! I will miss your witty comments, but right now I can't think of writing Aragorn again. Yet I won't say never... - T.
