| It's nice to see that despite the misunderstanding that still separates them, Faramir and Eowyn are reaching out to each other in a dark time. And good for them both, pushing themselves so hard to try to save Aragorn! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. | Heeheehee, Boromir showing off for the kitchen maids! And poor Fara, punished at only 3 for innocently getting out of the tub to find his nurse, who never should have left him alone in the water in the first place. We're lucky the future Steward didn't drown! Poor Aragorn, I really feel for him, having had an infected wound and knowing how nasty they are when they are draining. And I had modern antibiotics and sterile wound supplies to help me. At last, Fara and Eowyn remembered Aragorn's healing supplies--he would never go on a journey unprepared--so they could make him some medicine to help bring down his fever. I like this chapter a lot, and like how much calmer and more composed Eowyn is, at least on the outside, though she is still seething within. She acts more like somebody who would have trained in HOH should act. I remember how sorry you were for poor Aragorn prior to your own experiences. I decided that the childhood incident is one of the roots of Faramir's shyness. | |
