| So, it WILL be Alcandor for Aredhel after all! And there are a few gentle moments between the laughter that make it worthwhile. Frodo's own time for joy comes closer as well. Author Reply: I suppose the central idea of the story was expressed in this chapter, about how the light of Truth must be kept shining if peace and freedom are to endure. Even a paradise could fall if the truth is forgotten or corrupted, surely. Eru isn't done with Frodo yet! | |

I forget who said "Those who forget their history are doomed to repeat it" but I thought it could hold true even in the BR. And who was it that said "The truth will make you free"? (Yes, yes, I know:D) He may have groaned a bit at the first, but one day he'll be proud and joyful that he played such a part in keeping the land free and safe.
