| Do any of us think straight when we are upset? Lots of twisted thinking going on here. I still remember the expression on Denethor's face when he saw the beacon lit. It made me shiver but I thought that he had an idea of Gandalf's part in the affair and did not think beyond that. However he was definitely stern and indictive enough for the reaction you have given him. I found myself wincing at Merry's implied criticism of Gandalf but it is justified. I hope that we are going to see how he feels about this. Not that I can see there was much he could do about it at the time. Get these people talking to each other before it is too late for Tarannon! If anyone needs the healing hands of the king he does. And deserves them too. Am now out of internet range of a week! How will I contain myself? | |
