| Branding him! Don't make Faramir do that! He'll never be able to forgive himself for that. I thought it was a hopeful sign that Fontos was not there... maybe he isn't really a bad man. Maybe there could be another one on Faramir's side, even if he doesn't know it yet. | Sob, sob. Both our heroes are in the abyss now. Only Aragorn thinks he's been completely betrayed by Faramir, and Faramir's in no position to tell him otherwise. Painfully riveting chapter.
