| I reread this chapter and the scene when weak Galadhrim is trying anchor fading Thranduil is really heart breaking. He loves Thranduil like a member of his family. |

| I am appreciating Galadhmir more and more. What love and strength he has brought to this crisis. Dire events, vicious injuries, and hopeless ruination have lead to a frightening moment of release for Thranduil. Although, I am a little befuddled at his comparing his demise to a mortal death. Poor, desperate Galadh... I am so glad to know already that Thranduil survives. |
