Yes, Sam is already wise when it comes to the young master. Author Reply: *smiles fondly* Yes, I have always liked to imagine Sam as always being that caring, sweet, gentle, perceptive person that we see in the Fellowship. ANd I get to play around with him as a child! What fun! :) The friendship future master and future gardener share is remarkable - or so I would guess. :)And now to bed! Namarie! So he has his pony and love and all that good stuff! Glad he had some memories about his father and though it hurt, it was good to remember too. That scene was very well done. Glad you settled on that name for his pony. Merry was cute too! Namarie, God bless, Im mil le, Antane :) Author Reply: Hannon le for the help with the naming of the pony! Yes, he has his pony. My pony rather. Or the one I've always wanted. It is bittersweet to remember some things. Trust me, I know. I love doing young Merry, but young Pippin will be the best because I have this incessent bundle of energetic inspiration in my younger brother! He even has breathtaking green eyes that can tell you exactly how his misheif little mind is working! He's so sweet, too. :) I'm gonna go hug him! LOL! Glad you liked the story..er, chapter. Frodo smiled wanly. "You’re welcome. I just...I wish I could give you everything you ever wanted, but you already have everything." *Sighs in contentment* That is such a very sweet and noble sentiment. Very lovely chapter and I'm glad Frodo was able to enjoy the memories of his father that his new pony evoked. Author Reply: Hannon le! I had fun with this chapter. :) I am so glad you enjoyed this. *grin* I love it! What a beautiful pony! Sounds like he's got a sweet personality too. And if Merry finds Gil-Galad a bit hard to pronounce, he can always shorten it to one of the two parts of the name-Gil or Galad. :) This was absolutely wonderful, Frodo, and I can definitely appreciate how wonderful it is to be surprised with something you love and miss more than you realise! :) God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Yes, I thought that I would grace Frodo with the pony I've always wanted. Dreamy, isn't he (er, the pony, that is)? And yes, I need a pony if I am to have any equine for my own. Those tall horses are just...too tall. :) THough I will name mine Strider.Good idea about Merry! I just had a horrible thought - Gil galad will have to die in a future chapter!! I'm just heart broken! *sniff* I'm glad you liked this. Namarie! God Bless, Frodo Baggins | |
