| Nice! I love to read about Haldir...there's just not enough fanfic around on him. I like your take on his skill and his compassion, especially for his troops...he's not the haughty elf so many people paint him to be. :) | |

| Just the romantic pov we can happily expect from you. ;) So, shall we hear more of Haldir for a while? Now, you know I am not a big fan of movie!Haldir, but you captured very nicely virtues that would entice a lover. Author Reply: I am playing with Haldir right now. That didn't come out right. Okay, I am writing about Haldir lately for the heck of it and because my muse said so. I don't know what my muse will demand of me later. Right now it is playing in fields and forests where it has never before ventured. I even have a sort of thriller/adventure story in the works (5 chapters worth so far) staring many Third Age elves, so go figure. Glad you enjoyed this and like the lover enticing bits! | |

| Haldir makes a very good and reassuring captain. But I'm still glad to see that there is one whose touch makes him feel better! | (Smiles) That was simply beautiful! I like the repetition of the idea about Haldir's hands. It made the story incredibly powerful. I also enjoyed the glimpse of what elven marriage might be like. Thanks for writing this. I really enjoyed it. Author Reply: This was written for a challenge at Julie_Fianna_Archive (had to select a title and write a story about it) and I felt that this title could have suggested something sexual, but the unexpected would have been to write about all of the other wonderful inspirations that the touch of a hand could bring. I also felt that Haldir after being so many things for so many others needed someplace to go home to to recharge and rest and be taken care of himself. I'm glad you enjoyed this.
