Oh my goodness! I just want to hug both Aragorn and Fara, albeit that I would hug our King very very gently. With this updated version, you have certainly succeeded in making what Aragorn suffered in SAT look like nothing compared to what those wicked traitors did to him in that basement cell, and I know that was something you wanted to accomplish.

What a bad time for Aragorn to awaken! You'd think he'd get some relief from his wounds being tended; but the evil Queen of Angst who's writing the story wants the readers to suffer as much as Aragorn is! At least Faramir is washing his hands between the tending of various wounds. Clever Faramir; he may not be a professional healer, but he's probably observed and learned a lot about the importance of hygience in medicine. Author Reply: Thank you for your much appreciated review. I was once hailed as Queen of Angst and Goddess of Torture! Whether it was meant as a compliment, I have no idea. I think that after all I've put poor faramir through in my stories he must have learned something from both Aragorn and Eowyn about correct procedures.

It was good before but, yes, it is improved by you polishing. Still heart-rending though! Author Reply: Thank you for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased you think the polishing works. It is meant to be heartrending !
