"Yes," Pippin replied. "He said you used to steal berries from him all the time, lots and lots of berries, and your da didn't know what to do with you, and once-" ****************** *ROLF* Ya just gotta love it!! and Pippin ;-) This was such fun, ST!!! | Hmm, the proverb that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones comes to mind Merimac! And my mouth is watering as much as Merry's at the thought of those blackberry tarts! Blackberries are my most favourite soft fruit. Author Reply: I think it's one of those "do as I say, not as I do" type of situations. Merimac is an adult now, and a father, and is trying to set a good example...too bad his past is nearly catching up to him in the form of a chatty Took! ;) Thanks for reading, harrowcat! | |

I *knew* they would turn up again! So, first Mac, then Frodo and now three of their cousins at once - poor Mr. Greenhill ;-) But Pippin's charm never fails to impress hobbit ladies! Remarkable! Thank you Slightly Tookish, I'm sure Lily will love this :) Author Reply: Thank you, Andrea! I had a lot of fun borrowing Lily's characters and writing them for a change. And I was very pleased that she liked it too (I acually mailed it to her first - real mail, with paper and everything! ;D). I'm so happy you enjoyed it too! :) | |

| Aww...this is just adorable! I love the way Mac is so matter-of-fact about the whole thing. And Pippin--that charmer! He just wraps everyone around his little finger, doesn't he? and without even trying! Author Reply: Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed this. It was fun to write a few different characters and to show Mac interact with Pippin at the end. You're right, he is a real charmer! :) | |
