Poor Boromir; he's been very strong and courageous, but he's still a child who has been through a lot of pain and privation and fear a short time. At least Faramir gets to meet up with his uncle again. Though I doubt that even Numenorean genes would enable a kid with a recently sprained ankle to actually run anywhere. Good chapter, the suspense and danger intensify. Author Reply: Thanks, Raksha, for noticing that - I've changed it to Faramir hobbled forward. *giggles* though those Numenorean genes are pretty potent!!! And Boromir - still trying to be brave. The excitement of being home, in Minas Tirith, overwhelmed him, I think. Trying desperately to be obedient, he cannot, in the end. | |
