| Hehe, okay, so I'm a rather strange person. I'm pretty sure people don't normally write seperate reviews just for chapters of name translations. But then, most people don't write chapters of name translations that get me not only interested, but entertained and several times laughing out loud. *g* You two just come up with the greatest, most creative names! LOL, and here I have to struggle terribly just to come up with one that sounds reasonably good, nevermind actually *means* something... Thanks for posting all these translations - it really is very interesting to see the thought put into these things! - Cami P.S. Early on, I asked if you were going to do a spoof of this story, like you did for "Darkest Night". You said then that you were thinking about it, but didn't really have a place to post it... any updates on that? | |

| Many,many thanks for such a terrific story (again!). I love your action sequences, which are so deftly and visually drawn (Aragorn on the Mumak, for example) and how you make subtle reference to the movies, without hitting readers with a brick. And also your humour, which underpins much of your writing, IMHO. For instance the theme with Duurben and the form of address for Aragorn. I am sad to hear that this is your last (but maybe your best to date) - so would like to know where you are going to display your literary talents in the future? Wherever it is, I wish you all the best and am grateful for many happy hours of enjoyable reading and speculation. | |
