Gads, a deadly clutch has hatched, it seems! Are they draw to those whose Light is bright? Are they attracted only to Amanyar? Which if true is rather comforting - Elrond & sons etc. are safe. But then, why was Galadin's fellow guard taken? Glorfindel was lucky to survive the entire swarm attacking all at once! And these things are insatiable! And will get bigger!! Goodie, a monster flick. ;) Can't wait to see how you deal with them! Author Reply: Glad you like it! You'll have some of your questions answered in chapter 2. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Oh, what a terrific idea and a gap filler as well! For surely the elves must have once known of the terror that hid in that scary place in the mountains of Mordor...and whence its kin had come from, long time ago! I'll be looking forward to this, Ellie. Poor Glorfindel, such an encounter and such memories! Author Reply: Poor Glorfindel is right! I had hoped it would be a good idea and would turn out well, well, maybe not well for th elves perhaps, but I hope the readers will enjoy it:-) Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Whoa! Three for three: well told; very suspenseful; starring my favorite Elf! "Drawing his sword against he knew not what, Glorfindel stood in challenge in the middle of the camp. Putting forth all of his power, he felt his eyes blazing as the brilliant light of his powerful fëa cast outward, illuminating the entire area." Talk about painting a big old target right in the middle of your chest! Kudos to you too, for coming up with a menace not often seen in Third Age fanfiction. Galadriel had better watch her back, too. I'll be following this story with bated breath, Ellie. Good job. Author Reply: Glad I met your three for three! Woohoo! Glorfy is in pretty bad shape right now and it's too bad he didn't realise before he did the big flashy elf light thing that that was exactly the wrong thing to do. I like to try to be a little bit different in my writing when I can be. This story has developed itself with characters and story line beyond the basic premise writing themselves at times. Very odd and active muse of late, I must say. Glad you are enjoying this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
