I have only just discovered your work. This is very imaginative! The interactions between the three feel right. And the situation is amazing. It reminds me of the remark made up on Caradhras in the book, about there being many forces on the mountain that had no love for any creatures who went about on two legs. They could have used someone like Treebeard or Tom Bombadil to help them master whatever forces ruled that swamp! I am looking forward to reading more of your writing. Author Reply: Welcome. Thank you. I work hard on trying to get my characters believable, and that includes interactions between them. I'm glad you like the situations I created. :o) I actually hadn't thought about that, but you are very right in your comparison. I think those two would have been good choices to help. I hope that you enjoy whatever of mine you decide to read. Thanks.

“I have never been through anything like that in all my life,” the dwarf declared, still visibly upset by the day’s experiences. “And I never want to again.” He turned to look pointedly at Legolas, as he added, “I’ve had enough of green things for a very long time.” The elf regarded his friend with a sympathetic expression. “I do not care to revisit such a place as this again, either, Master Dwarf. That kind of greenery is not meant for elves to enjoy.” “Glad to hear it. I would be truly worried that that experience with the worm had addled your brain, if you said you liked that place, because it was green!” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ LOL.The vines really were freaky. Interesting story. Author Reply: Good. They were meant to be. :o) Glad you liked the bits you quoted above. I particularly liked the last paragraph about the greenery. Thanks.
