I became so upset while reading this chapter that I wanted to jump into the scene and beat the stuffings out of Fierthwain. What a totally hateful person he is. I can't wait to find out who will rescue Legolas and Elrohir. The sooner, the better. I hope Fierthwain and his cohorts get their just rewards for this evil deed. They are sooooo stupid. Tari

Ooh I'm so mad at these stupid, idiotic men right now I could scream!! Just shoot them now. Didn't Gandalf say some thing to Pippin about riding ourselves of stupidity? First though, I am humbly begging forgiveness for the late review. 3 kids + 2 puppies= no time to chat. Another fine chapter as usual and I can't figure out which way this will end? Any hints. Will you at least let Elrohir punch Fierthwain in the mouth for me, I know elves are usually peaceful but hey everyone has their limits. E Author Reply: Mae govannen! I know about being challenged for time VERY well. :-P This horribly late review response proves it. Thank you for sending it, though - it's wonderful to hear from you. Well - next chapter is up. Start thinking about what you wish to do to Fierthwain. :-) Hope to hear from you again. Take care, Legolass

Stupid men, they need a few lessons in manners, wait make that just totally new brains. I have sent out a visting nurse, with some bandages and painpills, for both Elladan and Legolas. Thats just in case a vengefull elflord does not make it in time. Meanwhile you have left poor Aragorn in a terrible place. How could you do such a thing. No milk and cookies for you! I am giving them to Estel instead. Author Reply: I apologise for this horribly, horribly late reply. Definitely no milk and cookoes for me now. GIve them to Legolas and Elrohir instead - the next chapter will tell you why. :-) THank you for this review you so kindly sent oh so long ago! Legolass

Sorry for the delay in reviewing Legolass but RL is getting in the way. A wonderful chapter as usual but please don't send my blood pressure tooo high! Author Reply: I suffer from high bp myself, harrowcat - but what a terrible person I am to send the bp's of my readers in the same direction, huh? :-) I hope reading fanfiction provides a good break from RL; I know writing it does from mine. I just finished a hectic day watching a movie, and now it feels good writing to you. But it's late now and I've got to get to bed. So - see you next update. THanks very much for the review! Oooh what a lousy piece of mud. How dare he! Warg-droppings for brains, ha! A brick wall would look smart next to him. It's a good thing there is a witness (small and female, perhaps?) and that Lord Celeborn and the others will arrive soon. Boy, he'll be in trouble then. And I hope that when Legolas has called back Aragorn (optimistically, I make that when, not if!!), they'll both deal with whatever's left of him. I only hope it won't be too late, your description of how Aragorn lost all his memories was very frightening. That's right, I'm still stacking up my winter supply - and the thought of hibernating is incredibly appealing right now! I'll pin a note on my tree: "On hibernation - see you all next spring" and disappear into my warm nest, only checking for an update each morning :-P Hugs, your rodent Author Reply: "A brick wall would look smart next to him." -- oh, you kill me with your delightful expressions and remarks, Rodent! :-D But yes, now Aragorn is lost - and it's beginning to look like an 'if' rather than a 'when' he is called back, is it not? Re the one eye-witness, I won't say anything for now, of course, except that you're very sharp, my furry friend. ;-) Mmm... hibernation sounds wonderful. Share your nest with me? THen I can wake up each morning just to write. :-D Great to hear from you as usual - thank you. Legolass

Well, if Fierthwain wants the wrath of the elves to descend upon the villagers, and himself, then he's going the right way about it! What a pompous creature--I hope, when Legolas gets the chance, that Fierthwain is given a serious whuppin'! So, who is watching Legolas & Elrohir being taken away? That was a surprise, Legolass, to read that.I wonder who it could be? I hope Celeborn & Elladan arrive soon and know of a way to revive Aragorn.Of course, they will need to find Legolas & Elrohir--and Galadriel's vial first. Great chapter, Legolass.I can't wait for the next one. Take care. Ali. Author Reply: If Thranduil knew about this, Fierthwain's head would be on a platter faster than he could say "please don't whup me!" But maybe someone else will reach him first. ;-) You're right, Celeborn & Elladan need to find Galadriel's Phial. And you'll find out who watched Legolas and Elrohir being taken away, in the next chapter, Ali. Think you can wait till then? ;-) Thanks for the review - lovely to hear from you as usual. wow. great chapter. I would very much like to smack some sense into Fierthwain--am I allowed to? please? :-P Poor, poor Aragorn. I await the next chapter... Author Reply: DO smack him all you like, Calenlass. Let me know how you do - or maybe we'll find out next chapter...? :-D Thanks much for your review, Legolass

Oh this was a tension mounting chapter! I can't wait for the outcome. I hope Fierthwain gets his due, I know bad of me but I still hope he does. Author Reply: Well, Idril, we'll see if that man does get his due eventually - if our friends make it out safely, that is. So... we'll have to wait and see about that too huh? Thanks for your review, Idril - good to know you're still reading this. :-) Legolass

oh, dear, oh, dear..... What we will we do - oooh, I know! my weapons stash is handy, we could pass it to Leggy & 'Roh & they can charge their way out of there like , like..... oh, The Terminator times two !!!! Yay! Aragorn will be saved!!!! Author Reply: Vampfan, you have the most ambitious plans, lol! But I'm afraid I don't do cross-overs, so Terminator 2 and weapons is out. But I guess you can do the saving. :-) Let's see if you can do that by next chapter! Thanks for your fun review, Legolass
