She's back! And Tilwen has had her baby - that should take some of the wind out of Galendur's sails. Fatherhood comes as a pretty big shock to some and I think he is likely to be of that party! Northwind does sound an interesting character - I think Frodo might find himself doing a bit more parenting than he expects! Author Reply: Most likely, on both counts...but I imagine Galendur and Frodo will both be good at parenting once they start to get the hang of it! One has the sense of humor and understanding of young minds, the other the wisdom and patience and responsibility, and both have the good sense to listen to each other and to others with worthwhile experience. And Frodo's self-esteem has gotten a huge boost from having a(nother) little namesake, I imagine...and it probably won't be the last one! Thanks much for commenting!:):) ~~~{~@

Wow - if he had only thought he had known despair before and I know he did, I don't even want to think of what he was going through when he thought she wouldn't be back. Love that he's including Lyrien in the wedding and now he's got a little namesake! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane Author Reply: Well, but he only thought he knew joy before, and now he knows exactly what it truly is! And isn't it a good thing he had enough sense to persuade Lyrien to choose a color instead of white for her bridesmaid's dress or it might look as though he'll have *three* little brides instead of one? lol And I'm betting he'll have more than one little namesake before his time in Arda is done! thanks bunches! Oh, how very perfect! Forget copies of statues from Budapest (WHAT a thing to have in the bath house!) and peacock gazebos and the rest--Tilwen and Galendur's small son is the proper, proper gift to receive just in time for the wedding! Yes! And love Northlight's affection for his ada, so much more worthy than the sea spirit who actually sired him. Yes, with healing in his hands has Frodo come to Tol Eressea. Author Reply: Budapest? I thought it was from Bruges...lol Actually I believe such statues were known in ancient Greece and/or the Roman Empire also! Maybe some explorer found one in the ruins of an Elven civilization and brought it back with him, and it caught on.....heheh...and it would be quite a conversation piece for any bathhouse, I should think;);) But yes, Little Iorhael leaves all that other stuff in the dust! And Frodo will give as good as he receives always, and the bond between him and Northlight has been forged more through working together than through playing together, I'm sure.:) hugs Armariel ~~~{~@
