| The renewal of the oaths after the proof of them is perhaps needless, but means the more. So glad you finally posted it! About time! Author Reply: And about time I answered all your lovely reviews. I fully agree with you. Aragorn and Éomer have given ample proof during the War of the Ring that they still uphold that oath. But Aragorn was not yet king during the Ringwar. Moreover, renewing the oath provides a good reason for a party, and I think both Gondor and Rohan have need of a good celebration after the dark years of Sauron's threat. | |
