So very true, Faith. So very true. Movie-verse Legolas had such an amazing range of expressions cross his face when dealing with death and the ones he cared for... I can fully see him thinking that they were "all elves" like himself, and to be confronted time and again with the mortality of the fellowship must have truly worked great angst in his heart and mind.
