ROTFL - my goodness - this one was fun... especially, of course, the last line! Did they do that on purpose, the wily twins???? Mispeak to even further confuse their Ada.... WOW

Delightfully clever. And so realistic...

DELIGHTFUL! And, yes, they had better not run into the mother on the way out. Author Reply: *Grin* Yes, somehow I don't think Celebrķan would be fooled so easily ...

Yes, clever elflings that they are, they've figured out how to manage their father! Heh! Author Reply: Sneaky twins. Get Elrond when he's reading or studying, and they're already halfway to winning. And they know it!

I LOVE it! How intellgence are the twins! Go El! Wonderful chappie. Author Reply: Oh, I think the twins are very smart. And cunning. And know exactly how to get round their father! Thank you :>)

*lol* With these two, Elrond clearly should be more cautious what he says. But the twins knew very well how they would get what they wanted - they know their Ada too well. Author Reply: I think Elrond will be much more careful in future! But *all* children know how to get round their parents - and the twins are far too sharp to miss a chance like this :>)

O dear, the things parent will agree to when the are distracted ;) The twins know him all to well don't they? Elladan does not even mind being corrected if only they can do what they want to. Author Reply: *Grin* The twins knew they could get to Elrond while he was reading - the grammar lesson was just a bonus that they took advantage of!

Ahh yes, how many times has this happened to a parents chagrin. It's scary isn't it how the dear little ones can read us so well. Another cute slice of life Jay! Author Reply: I can hear myself saying 'xxxx and I' in that tone - as a parent and as a teacher. The twins are frighteningly fast to take advantage!

*giggles* Oh, that was just too adorable - poor Elrond, mischievous twins tricking him like that! Author Reply: They hoped he'd be distracted while reading - but the 'El' slip of the tongue proved even better for them. I think E&E make a formidable team :>)

Hehehe. Oh Elrond, you've just been outwitted! Such clever twins - they saw an opening and took complete advantage of it! I love how Elrond, in his distraction, says "El" and especially how this is a joint effort for the twins. Teamwork can really pay off! I really enjoyed this, Jay :-) Author Reply: I think the twins would be the ultimate double act, and would keep the whole of Imladris on its toes! I must admit, I grinned as I wrote Elrond saying 'El and I'. He proved to be even more distracted than E2 hoped for!
