Methinks you have outdone yourself with this story. I could end up quoting all the contents if I were to say what I liked most. I hope you won't get tired of me saying how much I enjoy it when you include or even just mention Amrothos in your stories. I enjoyed this story very much esp. to discover that Eomer and Lothy had been most proficient in providing heirs for Rohan, and what a brood too! They could even stand up to their very loquacious uncle, who seemed to have lost his edge or met his match after all. Hope you'll still be writing what happened to the Riddermark's royal family and the Dol Amroth extension before the population explosion. It's nice to see that Amrothos and Erchirion did settle in Rohan eventually and I'm very curious as to who they ended up with and how. I laughed out loud at the children's the pranks on their mother's family and even on their girl cousin.Draca was most adorable, even if he does have a dubious taste in food. It would be interesting to know

Well - the offspring of Lothiriel and Eomer were never exactly going to be angels. But these three take curiosity and courage a smidgeon too far, perhaps! At least two of their mother's brothers think so - with good reason. Perhaps it's a good thing that the two youngest haven't yet escaped the watchful eye of their nurses to join in the party. And what poetic justice for Amrothos - who seems to have escaped with unfairly co-operative children. Although I note that his daughter determined that the rest of the family would not be visiting Edoras this time. I'm sure Imrahil would consider the frogspawn a fair price to pay for watching his son attempt to subdue three little Rohirric demons. And their warg of a dog. Lovely. Simply lovely. I am thoroughly looking forward to more of this. Author Reply: Perhaps you remember what Imrahil said to Erchirion after the ‘behourd’? “My only solace is that one day all of you will have children of your own,” the Lord of Dol Amroth remarked philosophically. “And then I will sit back, watch and gloat.” In a way that wish came back to him to do some haunting, but what is a bit of frogspawn in comparison to all the entertainment he gets? Don’t be too hopeful regarding the two youngest. They are going to show up later and they are really promising

Have I ever told you that I adore your fics? Seriously, there's always at least one part that leaves me in gales of laughter and the whole incident with Erchirion and the bed... genius. It is hilarious to watch Amrothos get a taste of his own medicine though I have to admit, the princes sound like genuine terrors. Maybe Eomer's ignoring their behavious because it's good to scare off orcs. And I would LOVE to know what Imrahil, Aragorn, Arwen, Faramir, Eowyn, Gimli and Legolas think of their friend's offspring! Lovin' it. PLEASE UPDATE SOON! Author Reply: My idea with the bed chamber prank came from a RL incident. One of my cousins (and I have legions of them) got married a couple of years ago and my brother and her brothers took out all bolts and screws from her newly assembled marriage-bed. You can imagine that the wedding night was a rather uncomfortable affair, spent on the sofa bed in the living room. Her husband had a good come-back the next morning: he dismantled the start plugs from all the brothers’ cars. Give E/L’s three hellions a few year to grow up, plus additional reinforcement by little Forðred, and they will not just scare off Orcs but any evil that might threaten Rohan. And the rest of the Rohirrim can stay home and put their feet up.

I want to know what happened in the 10 years in between!!! Sounds like the royal couple have their hands full, 5 kids, wow! I have 3 and they drive me batty!! Glad to read Amrothos finally settled down. Keep writing, gotta have more! Author Reply: If you read attentively you will find several hints of what has happened over the past ten years to all the well-known characters. Three kids yourself? A good average. My mother had four within six years and she somehow managed to stay sane, which – in retrospect - amazes her considerably.

lol... Boys will be boys... :-D Sounds like at least they are having fun ;-) Author Reply: That’s the idea. Doesn’t everybody want his children to say one day: “I had a great childhood. I had such fun.”?

Five boys! Oh my! Rather like building your own basketball team, though in this case perhaps rugby team would be more apropo. It doesn't seem that anyone else has had problems with the high jinks of the boys, Eomer even sounds like he must been a hellion. It sounds like Aelfwine, Eomund and Hroager are too smart for their age - is military school for manners an option before everyone in Lothiriel's family refuses to visit Rohan? Author Reply: Definitely no military school for those three. Who wants a bunch of goody-two-shoes, who are always standing to attention? By the way: only four boys. One of the twins is - very much to Éomer’s relief – a girl, Théodwyn. But I love the idea of a rugby team. Just imagine: They are going to found the RRL, the Rohirric Rugby League!

Oh my goodness, what little hellions! Somebody should prank them right back and good too, so they can know what it feels like to be hurt and humiliated, all in the name of "fun." I can't believe Lothi and Eomer would let their kids run wild this way, but maybe they're too busy making more kids in the royal bedchamber to pay much attention. Author Reply: I gather from your comment that you are not very keen on playing practical jokes or that you aren’t the biggest fan of Hubert, Deuteronomy and Louis Duck also known as Huey, Dewy and Louie? I can assure you, being a prankster doesn’t mean you’ve suffered from parental negligence. Otherwise my brother would qualify for being one of the most neglected kids in the Northern hemisphere.
