Scary action-filled chapter - I can almost smell the smoke! Faramir, Eowyn and Aragorn make a good team. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm glad you enjoyed this as I'm not good at action scenes.I think the three will continue to be a team in the future now.

Good thing they saved Elbeth! And the beginning of the chapter sounded too happy to last - but they are all getting along much better now and seem able to appreciate each other's strengths. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. When I wrote this first time round, I had no idea how big a part Elbeth would eventually play. This was meant to be her sole appearance.THe story is meant to mark the begiining of a great friendship.

I never though Fara was particularly drippy in the original version, but he's certainly not in this revised chapter. I thought his fears--almost post-traumatic stress disorder, upon confronting the fire in the hut and being reminded so vividly of his father's death that he almost shared--were very real. Thank goodness he had his King and Eowyn there to help him and to save little Elbeth. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased you like this new version. You are spot on,as I do see Faramir as suffering from PTST.I tried also to make eowyn more protective towards Elbeth.
