| Ah, Merry is at that age when he thinks he's all grown up, isn't he? I do love the way Pearl is trying to get Merry to spend time with Pippin. She knows how much it will mean to her little brother. Pippin has lots of protectors. i am enjoying this very much. | |

| I love how in this story too, as in Merry Yule and Orange Pips, Pippin's growth is mentioned! It would be a *very* important issue for such a little fellow, especially one that is so eager to catch up with the older cousin he worships! You have captured Pippin's excitement wonderfully, and Merry's casual superiority at being an age he thinks so very mature. I love all of the detail; everything is so clearly described that I can see the scenes perfectly in my mind! | |
