| A good summation of some of Denethor's misgivings; showing his fundamental preference for his older son much to his younger son's detriment. And yet, if Denethor had sent Faramir to Imladris, both his children might have survived the Ring War (sadly, the reverse is also true). Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated and very first review of this collection ! I feel that Faramir would have resisted the rIng unlike his brother had he gone on the mission. I'm pretty sure you gave me the idea for this one,though it was months ago. | |
