There's a moment when being home seems perfect - and then you begin to realise how much you have changed and how much everybody else has changed. Frodo's got to that point sooner than the others, but I reckon it will hit Merry and Pippin pretty quickly. Sam - less, maybe. He's more his own hobbit. And he's just got betrothed, which is a time of change anyway.

Frodo's memories are the most telling and moving, of course. As for the rest--coming home must have been difficult in many ways, but wll worth it in the end. Author Reply: I imagine it was difficult in some ways for all of them to come home, but I think it was probably family that made it easier for the others. Poor Frodo didn't have his own family to come home to. Thanks for reviewing! :)

Oh Hai! How lovely to see you back! I recognize many of these titles as Challenge stories and old friends that I will be glad to read once more! And, correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't you added a little to this one? Some parts seemed unfamiliar? Still, it's a very lovely look at our four lads arriving home once more! Welcome back, dear!! Author Reply: Thank you! I am just returning after an absence that lasted much too long. Some of this may be different I'm not sure, sometimes I would mess around with certain stories later. Thank you for reviewing again, that is very sweet of you, and it is good to be back :)
