This is marvelously constructed, as your poetry always is! I love structured poetry, and in this, the imagery is just perfect! There were ships going forth from the Havens, Filled with those weighted down and bent, Each bow in the waves a release of the stays, Each sea-wind a breath heaven-sent. The metaphor there is just right, and I could imagine the weary voyagers reviving as they sailed. | |

You think that Cirdan himself at the last chose not to sail, remained here in Middle Earth to fade but keep somewhat alive the memories? The cadences and rhyme schemes I am certain would have delighted the Master himself. | |
