A very good drabble, liked how Aragorn recognized what a tense moment it was for Fara, and how Fara had the courage to continue on. Of this whole drabble series, I think my favorites are Chapters 8&9. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed this one. I think my favourites are the last 3.

Sometimes the inanimate is scarier than the animate. But the biggest obstacles are the one you refuse to climb. Faramir has more than enough courage for this. And the support of his king. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. Yes,i'm sure Faramir has the courage to overcome his fears.

Well this is definitely one of the favourite. I shall have to go back and reread them all to give you a top five! *g* Can't wait to see this expanded into a full chapter. *hint, hint* Although this is great as it is. Maybe less is more! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. This is a personal favourite of mine too. I have a poll on my LJ to vote for a favourite.I do hope one day to write more about this scene.

I forgot to mention that my favorite in this series is actually a tie - between Half Hearted (the Elrond drabble) and The Right Choice (Arwen), which seems to me to be the most innovative. But they're all noteworthy. Author Reply: I'm pleased you enjoyed them all. I think my own favourite is a tie to,between "Thhe right Choice" and "The Lesson" with "Shadow and Flame" close behind.

Let's hope that Faramir only briefly sees those legendary burning hands inside the stone! Good drabble - I think Faramir would strive to master the Anor-stone; despite the knowledge of how its usage affected Denethor; and even though he knows it will be painful and difficult. Good writing of Aragorn, too, of course. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I was thinking of the other palantir that Pippin found, but it could be either. I see Faramir as the kind of determined person, who would want to master it and ARagorn as a kindly teacher.I'm pleased you liked it.
