Baby Frodo is adorable! I've never wanted children but I might change my mind if I could have a baby hobbit! :-)) Glad Merimac found out what was needed, and then discovered that looking after a baby isn't so terrifying after all. A very sweet look at our favourite Ring-bearer and his family. Author Reply: I wish I had a baby hobbit too! They are so sweet and cuddly - and just imagine how tiny they would be! :) I'm so glad you enjoyed - thank you so much!

Another sweet story - you are just full of them! :) Loved Northern Lights also. I am going to have to look at more of yours when I have more time. Time? Time. What's that? Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Thanks very much, Antane! I'm so glad you enjoyed this story and the Northern Lights one as well. I can't seem to get enough of writing wee hobbit cousins :D

Ah! Once he'd got his own way, little Frodo was quite happy - and that was a considerable relief for his cousin! But still, I expect Merimac will be glad to see the return of the relief party. Author Reply: Yes I'm sure he was! :) Thanks for reading, Bodkin!

Such a beautiful story, and how it resonates with anyone who has had to watch a wee one! Well Done, ST! Author Reply: Thank you, Pearl! I'm so glad it resonated with you. I was thinking of my own trials in babysitting, heehee! :)

Yes, all too often that's about the only thing a baby wants--to be held. Author Reply: I figured that Merimac would have a little trouble figuring that out, being that he is not yet a father and presumably has not had much experience in child care. But his heart is in the right place and he does eventually discover what to do! Thanks for reading :)

"I hope someday when I have children that they never cry." "Pffth," Frodo replied, resting his head on Merimac's shoulder. LOL!!! Clever baby! And a wonderful Merimac. Sometimes it can be very difficult to find out why a baby cries. It's natural for hobbits and men to expect the worst. But, as little Frodo showed us, he only wanted to be held. Nice little story. Thank you! Author Reply: It is hard to figure out why a baby is crying and I think it's even more difficult when it is not your own baby...there is such a fear that something will go wrong once the parents leave the room! Thanks, Andrea! I'm so glad you enjoyed :)
