I love that chapter of the book. A moment of lightness in dark times. I, also, much prefer the book to the film version of Faramir. I often regret that Sam goes to so much trouble to cook those coneys only to meet Faramir immediately after and therefore are fed well for a short while. But then if the fire hadn't smoked they may have missed one another. *sighs again in admiration of the Prof's plot-planning*. Author Reply: It's my very favorite part of Book IV - Sam looking down at Frodo and thinking of how much he loves him. As far as Faramir finding them, Iluvatar looks after His own you know. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane

I can't put my finger on why, it just touches that chord that makes me want to reach out...*sniff* God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: I thought your latest gift was inspired by something! :) So glad it moved you so much. Yes, Frodo's in his proper home now, waiting for the final reunion waiting to demonstrate it was worth all the pain, all the grief, and all the love expressed. Author Reply: Heaven our true home awaits but he waits for Sam - love the way you expressed that wait for reunion. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
