Our clever, capable Elf just won one battle; but Aragorn's observations stand. And now they have act very quickly. Time to get moving, however they do it. Glad to see the end of Hatch.

This chapter really made me shiver. And that last sentence.... ooh dear! Author Reply: I hope your shiver was a good thing. :o) More shivers?

Go Legolas! All right! Great moves on the elf's part. Are they free or will be once someone can get to the knife. Aragorn still has the knife. Good. Now to somehow free an arm. Do I sense a round of canniblism on the part of the trolls? Will they decide to eat their leader and then argue about who will be the next leader? Trolls aren't real smart and with the smartest one dead the rest should be confused and arguing amongst themselves. This should leave our heroes a chance to escape. Meanwhile where are their horses? Couldn't they escape and head back to Imladris? I think our heroes wouldn't object to a little help from the twins. Even if the twins will never let them live it down. I can just hear them now. "How dumb of you to cross troll territory. Do you have a death wish?" Hurry with the next update. I can hardly wait to see what happens next. Author Reply: Legolas took the only chance he felt he would have, and he did good. Getting to the knife Aragorn has won't be easy. We'll have to see how/if they manage that. No cannibalism. You are probably right about the arguing, though. There may be a chance to escape while that's going on. Then again, maybe not. Their horses are still at the camp. As for being helped by the twins, I'm afraid they aren't in this one. L/A will have to survive on their own. If the twins were to get involved, they would surely react exactly the way you describe. I will update as soon as I can manage it.
