| This is so lovely, dear! So profound and loving. Now I am going to have to listen to that song again! I could quote all my favorite parts but suffice it to say, that's everything that Elrond said and some of what Frodo was thinking ahead of time. I love everything that wise Elf said, but my dear, dear Elanor, this cannot be the end, this is only the beginning. You *must* continue this journey in which only the first step has been taken. Please!!! Pretty please with all the mushrooms you want on top! Do you know "Only an Ocean Away" by Sarah Brightman? It's not written of course as a friendship song but parts of it remind me of Sam missing Frodo: Oh I want you here with me. Oh be here with me. There's an ocean between us. You know where to find me. You reach out and touch me. I feel you in my own heart. More than a lifetime Still goes on forever. But it helps to remember You're only an ocean away. Want to do a story around that? | Wow, Ellie! That was really profound. I loved it! I want to buy that song from iTunes. I only heard a little portion of it, but I got the lyrics and they are so beautiful! ANyway, I have to go. | *Takes deep breath and sighs* Oh Elli!!! This HAS to be one of my absolute favs!!!!! I cried! (I think the fact that I listened to exile while reading this helped. heh) Wow. really beautiful!
