Nothing like hobbity love - so Frodo's influence continues long after he's gone. Elanor learned that not only from her uncle but I'm sure from her father, knowing how much he forgave and continued to dearly love when said uncle was, shall we say, not himself? Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: No, nothing like it. Frodo's influence on those he left behind was profound, I think.

That's our Elanor. So like her parents and her Uncle Frodo, to be so forgiving and know that the teasing wasn't truly about her at all. And Arwen is rather scary when she's angry. I'm glad I wasn't that servant! And the servant has learned a valuable lesson about treating others with dignity and respect, no matter what their size. Author Reply: She is a sweet and unassuming child, and she grew up with excellent examples of forgiveness and understanding. I would think an angry Arwen would be very scary indeed! Galadriel wasn't her grandmother for nothing! I sort of imagine that Elanor and Haleth might even grow to be friends now.

Oh, I think Arwen could be very intimidating when angry, and not just to young girls. Very credible and touching slice of life in the Fourth Age. Author Reply: I am quite sure she was! I think that Gondorians in general probably tended to tread lightly around their queen; after all, she wasn't Galadriel's granddaughter for nothing! But I'm also sure she used her anger wisely. And thank you! I've always been touched by the thought of little Elanor, as one of the Queen's ladies!

Haleth has learned more than one lesson there, I think! Not just think before you speak, but something about the nature of hobbits. And the character of the queen! Author Reply: Yes, I think she has learned several lessons, and I expect she will be much chastened in the future. And I have a feeling that this experience will have been very good for her in the long run.

This was so sweet - Elanor is definitely her parents' daughter, and her Uncle Frodo would be very proud of her. I certainly wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of Arwen! Hope you've managed to read the latest chapter of the new story - or were you put off by the warning? Hope it wasn't too much for you! Author Reply: I am sure he would have been. Nope--I don't think that would be a good idea at all, actually. She was, after all *Galadriel's* granddaughter! Confession: when I saw the warning, I decided to wait for the next chapter to be posted, so I'd have a bit of fluff to wash down the angst. You don't often do angst, but when you do, it's pretty intense. Rest assured though, I won't miss a bit of that tale!

Poor young Haleth has a good deal to learn, apparently, about the nobility of Hobbits. However, she has a shining example before her of just how wonderful they can be! Author Reply: She does still have a lot to learn. But I think that she will now begin to learn what it would be like to have one as a friend...

Those hobbits! Sam and Rosie raised their first born well :-) Author Reply: They did, didn't they? *grin*

I'm finally here! :-) You know...after reading this most lovely tale, I have a feeling (a good one!) that there is another story behind this one that is *screaming* to be told. *hint, hint!* ;-) PF Author Reply: It's possible--I'll have to see if the bunny tells me any more...

Very enjoyable, you write Arwen well. I'm trying this challenge too but very much doubt I can write something for each prompt. Author Reply: Thank you! I don't believe I've written of her very often, so it's good to know you think I got her right. I'm going to give it a good shot--as long as the prompts don't get too outlandish, I may be able to get something for each one. *crosses fingers very tightly*
