Nice Haldir scene. Three hundred years of bad news. The long defeat indeed.
Legolas has learned to depend too much on Langcyll. He does need to learn to trust himself and his own judgements. Still growing up.
Ah the Nimrodel. I always liked that scene from the book. How did that pearl get there? Oh yes the author put it there. So peaceful and healing. We need a Nimrodel.
A smart orc would be dangerous and they got very dangerous.
A pretty elf maiden for Legolas to woo. He won't soon hear the end of this. She doesn't sound like the kind of she-elf that would be partial to relocating to Mirkwood. Of course Legolas being a younger son could move to 'Lorien.
The twins are so cute looking out for each other.
So Galadriel used Nenya against the orcs. Serves them right. They will think twice before they pull anything like this again. Of course in the book the elves go kill them by hand when they follow the fellowship into 'Lorien.
This was sure a action packed chapter. I am in awe of people who can write battle scenes
