Heehee! :D Excited Pippin is so cute! Author Reply: He is kind of adorable, isn't he? ;)

Lovely, sweet story. When I think that I wish it could have always remained that way - so sweet and loving and innocent - and that four had never been hurt - I then realize that the Quest was taken up just so that could indeed happen, even if it took a while for the wounds to heal. Sorry if I am overwhelming your inbox with loads of reviews but I gave up reading during Lent and I am still crawling out of a mound of stories! Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: I'm so glad you enjoyed. And don't worry about my inbox! There's nothing more delightful than finding a bunch of nice new reviews waiting for me! And wow! What will-power! I'm not sure I could go 40 days without hobbits!!

Enthusiastic is a very good word for Pippin! And how can anyone fail to respond to it? (Although they might need a week in bed once he has gone home...) Author Reply: Can't believe I missed seeing this! Everyone *does* respond to Pippin's enthusiasm--he's just such a happy child, they can't help it. (though I suspect you may be right about the week in bed, LOL!)

I love the way Pippin just jabbers on and on without taking a breath - he must be exhausting company. A lovely look at our favourite hobbits. Author Reply: I'm sure he was! Excitement or nervousness would bring that out in him, and at that age, nearly everything was exciting--especially getting to see Merry and Frodo!

LOL! Sam must have breathed a sigh of relief when Merry and Frodo showed up to take his 'help' away from him. ;) And wee!hyper!Pippin is always such a treat. *hugs Pippin* Author Reply: I imagine that he did, although I also think he probably enjoyed himself as well--a nice change from weeding the flowerbeds, LOL! I know! I think you are as fond of hyper!Pippin as I am! *grin*
Frodo Baggins | Reviewed Chapter: 32 on 3/7/2007 |
Oh my! I do believe that Frodo and Merry would get a bit frusterated after a while! LOL! Poor Sam! But he is ever so patient. :) I love this story, as I do all your stories. :) Hantanyel, mell nin! Namarie, God Bless, Frodo Baggins Author Reply: I think Merry and Frodo are rather used to Pippin's chatter by now, LOL! And Sam does have quite a lot of patience for little Pippin, doesn't he? I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Heeheeheee! So cute! Little Pippin reminds me of my baby sister at "that age," when she talked nonstop on a trip we were taking. When we stopped for lunch after about four hours, she suddenly cried, "My mouth hurts!" -- from all that talking. (Thankfully, after a nice, filling lunch, she slept for much of the afternoon part of the drive.) Exhausting -- but too cute! Very well done, dear Dreamflower! Author Reply: Have you seen the car commercial, where the Daddy buckles his little girl into the back seat, as she talks non-stop, and just continues as they drive away? So adorable, and so like some children. They are so full of enthusiasm!

That was so cute...so sweet - and very lovely! I always enjoy your glimpses into the relationships between the cousins and Sam when they were growing up. :-) I think *I* felt a little breathless there for the wee hobbit lad! PF p.s. Alphabets are popping up everywhere, lol. It's late now, but I shall get to them soon. Author Reply: I did want to convey that non-stop breathlessness--it was why I didn't use any commas, LOL!
