Brilliant GW! A friend of my mother thinks that she likes walnuts and keeps giving her bags of them that she has painstakingly shelled! There are really only so many ways that you can eat walnuts when you can't cook! I shall think of this every time I look at the bags that appear at home! Author Reply: So, your mom knows how Pippin and Merry felt, without, of course that bit where they saw Pervinca naked. LOL Thanks for the review and I do hope that you don't have more walnuts than you can tolerate!

Oh my!! Pippin will be permanently traumatised! And he had better take mental note of the complete ruthlessness of his sisters - and make sure it is never targeted at him. He wouldn't stand a chance against them. Especially if they ganged up. None of them will ever think about walnuts in the same way again. Author Reply: I am very certain that Pippin knows better than to tangle with those three. After all, he avoided the barn when he heard the voices. If Merry had decided that they should go in search of Pervinca, Pippin would have been safe. As it was he saw more than he wanted to see of at least one sister. LOL Walnuts may just be off Pippin's list of foods now. Thank you for reading!

This is absolutely priceless, GW! I couldn't stop laughing, and a day later I'm still giggling. Had to read it again tonight and it was just as good. I don't know how you do it, and if I were to quote my favourite lines I'd have to quote the entire story back at you. However, I think this one may just be the winner..... "Well, we know for certain that it has walnuts in it," Merry said dryly. Bwahahahaha!!!! Oh Merry! I just love these two - Pip grumbling about having to hull walnut, Merry forgetting to follow his own advice about keeping his mouth shut, and Pearl and Pervinca behaving like a couple of faunts! You made my day. Author Reply: Thank you! I am so pleased that this made your day. I had fun letting the lasses be the ones acting up this time. Usually it is Pippin and Merry but this time they were the innocent ones! Very, very, rare. For some reason I always seem to write Merry as being a bit sarcastic. hehehe Glad you enjoyed that. You made me day with your lovely review!

This is just as funny the second time around, GW! *snicker*snerk* Author Reply: Why thank you! My hobbits just can't seem to keep their clothing on. I love it when people read a second time and leave a comment! Thank you!

*L* That was hilarious! I love how you give that characters so much life. I could imagine every single face they made. And the different behaviour of Merry and Pip towards certain things felt just perfect. Author Reply: That is such a lovely thing for you to say. Thank you so much for reviewing and I am pleased that you liked. I hope your stories are coming along well. I am looking forward to reading them.

That sly Pearl! What a thing to do! Of course, Pervinca had intended to do worse to her, so I suppose it comes out somewhat even. But it is indeed a good subject to avoid at the moment, I must suppose! Pearl was evil this time--truly evil. Heh! Author Reply: I thought it might be fun if Pippin had no part in the mischeif for once and when 'Marigold' decided to give me a 'naked Pervinca' as a story element I had to come up with a way to de-frock her. Pearl was a great help to me there. The Tooks can be very wicked can't they?

"I’m blind! I’ve been punished by whatever it is that punishes folk for doing evil things!" This had me absolutely roaring with laughter! Wonderfully funny story, GW! Author Reply: Thanks! Somehow I figured that Pippin just might be a wee bit upset by this. Now, I do think Merry enjoyed it. LOL
