Two months have gone by since the battle. Time sure flies when you are cleaning up a messy battle scene. Araagorn wondering if Legolas had been at Mt Doom. Lim was there. Somehow I don't see her as being as hard headed and hearted as Thranduil. And Legolas says "I have found it better to judge the world by seeing it myself rather than letting others judge it for me.” If he is so much like Thranduil his pride and stubborness have led him down a different path than his father. So to Aragorn Legolas is a most interesting elf. Great drinking contest. Yes elves do get drunk. Ask daw the minstrel. She pointed this out to me. Yes the elf would win. Of course it takes a lot of booze to get them wasted and they have very little hangover. He slept a little later and felt off all day. Elves are just too cool. I think the council was right not to start their government with bloodshed. If the loyalists ever return they can face the music. How will Fompram ever survive on his own. Better not to think about that. Going to Imladris and see the family. Elrond will be able to help Legolas get things straight. | |
