LOL, omg...I think *I'm* blushing. Not really, but I do like knowing Pippin blushes as easily as I do, lol. Very sweet! Aunt Hepatica reminded me a lot of my great-grandmother! :-) PF Author Reply: It's really hard to *avoid* blushing when making a visit to prospective in-laws, I think! LOL! I am surprised at the number of reviewers who told me they had relatives of some sort who reminded them of Aunt Hepatica! But she's something else, isn't she?

Poor blushing Pippin. There's nothing to compare to outspoken elderly aunts for embarrassing a young courting couple. But he stood it well - for Diamond! Author Reply: *giggle* Well, the prompt rather called for it; and Pippin, I think, would not normally be all that easy to embarrass, but visiting potential in-laws for the first time seemed tailor made to be blush-making! He did endure it bravely, didn't he?

Poor Pippin! And Aunt Hepatica sounds a real dragon! My great aunt was like that - 4ft10in andruled with a rod of iron! She was a former suffragette and took no nonsense from anyone. Diamond sounds lovely - no wonder Pip loves her. Author Reply: Yes, that sounds a good deal like Aunt Hepatica! She brooks no nonsense at all! I'm glad you like my Diamond--I'm rather fond of her myself, LOL!

Aw. This was delightful. Though if there were blushing muscles, it sounds as if his would be exhausted by the end of the visit. Oops, lunch is over, time for read aloud! Author Reply: Poor Pippin! I'm sure all the blushing wore him out, LOL! Read aloud? I hope it's a good story!

Nice to see Pippin getting quite pink so repeatedly. And Diamond is being properly proprietory of HER Pippin. I LOVE Aunt Hepatica, myself. Glad to see the old dear martinet! Glad she likes him. Author Reply: He blushes nicely, doesn't he? *grin* I don't think Diamond is generally the jealous type, but I'm sure she would have discouraged any attempts at poaching! Yes, she likes him. Which begs the question: what if she didn't? Words fail me!

Soooooo cute :) Though with three sisters of his own, you'd think Pippin would learn not to blush around women *all* the time. Just teasing, it's certainly different when it's the girl he's courting! Author Reply: Yes, it's *quite* different! Though I am sure that Pearl, Pimpernel and Pervinca would have loved to see him squirm--because I'm also quite sure that he had many occasions to make *them* blush, LOL! It's a shame they couldn't have seen that!

That was great! But this chapter definitely needs a beverage alert! Mostly, from my point of view for this: “Good morning, everyone!” he called cheerily, as he entered the room. “This smells like a very lovely first breakfast.” “It is second breakfast, Peregrin,” corrected Aunt Hepatica ROTFL!!! Aunt Hepatica is wonderful! And I do ask together with Pippin: What is she like if she *dis*-likes someone? Thank you for giving me a good laugh :) Author Reply: Aunt Hepatica is quite a character, LOL! She just showed up in the story and took over! I'm glad if it made you laugh. Laughing is a Good Thing!

A blushing pink Pipkin just makes him more like his 'baby' name. Glad that Aunt Hepatica likes him! Am loving all these Dreamflower - sorry RL is keeping me from reviewing lots! Author Reply: I think Pip's adorable when he blushes. *grin* It's quite good that she likes him--I think she'd really be a dragon if she didn't! "Lots" is not that important--just knowing you read is lovely!
