| One at least had the grace to turn away from what had come of that vain oath. And I rejoice he wouldn't let his wife lose herself in her own desire for vengeance. Author Reply: Finarfin so often gets the short end of the stick because there isn't anything written about him except that he stayed behind, while all his relatives who went to Middle-earth got all the glory (and the tragedy and death).
