| Lovely. And I love Celebrimbor's last thought. And Sam's recognition of himself in her smile. Nerdanel's story is such a sad one - and she deserved better, I think. Author Reply: Thanks! That particular double drabble was written as a birthday present, and the challenge was for the birthday girl's favorite character to meet up with the writer's favorite character. | These are also marvellously done. Nerdanel is one of those characters who pops up in the Silmarillion and seemingly doesn't do much - and yet, that makes her rather intriguing. What sort of woman would have married Feanor, after all? And beautifully written. Author Reply: Thank you. Nerdanel was the character that intrigued me the most in the Silm, for exactly that reason: what sort of woman would (have been brave and crazy enough) to marry Feanor? :) | |
