Light from the West  by Armariel 3 Review(s)

“I think so,” I said. “In fact, I saw him. That must have been when I dozed off. He was standing before me, speaking to me. I could feel his hand touching my face. It was not like a dream; it felt real.”

That must have been a great consolation to our dear - to feel his brother's touch again.

Happy Easter! Christ is Risen! He is truly Risen!

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Good to see you back again gal! I've missed your comments!

It may have been Northlight who touched him in reality, but Sam in the dream/vision. A consolation indeed.

Hope your Easter season was a happy one!

Well, Guilin, I think the answer to that is 'quite a lot'!

I suspect it can only do Raven good to be able to speak of what she has endured - and it says a lot for how much safer she feels that she can tell Frodo.

(Hathol sounds a good man in a bad situation and I hope he escaped. One way or another.)

Author Reply: Hathol got out but whether or not he survived...well, even I'm not sure. We'll just see what the Muse says;)

Yes, Raven needed to get it all out...and probably there's more that needs to get out before she's fully recovered, but she's a gutsy girl and will make it although of course these things aren't cured overnight. The nature of her special bond with Frodo is pretty obvious, and she surely feels safe telling him anything. As for Guilin, maybe his burden of guilt can be eased by the knowledge that but for him Hathol and the other prisoners would not have escaped, at least not as soon as they did.

I feel as if I missed something. Northlight was the one who touched him, or Sam, or whom?

Poor child, for Raven to have been through all of that. And it would be a blessing to know what happened to Hathol after all.

Author Reply: Well, I thought it was Sam, but come to think of it, I suppose it could have been Northlight in reality, and Sam in the dream/vision. Hathol's fate may have to remain a mystery....unless maybe someone with extraordinary vision could find a way to see, after all. Who knows? Just keep putting ideas into my head;D
