omg...I guess they didn't have the FDA back then, lol. Yikes, just the thought of food poisoning and *then* seasickness to top if off is retched. Ooops - did I spell that wrong? =:-D PF Author Reply: *giggle* Probably not in Umbar, anyway, LOL! "Wretched" is how you feel, "retch" is what you do when you feel that way! 8-D

Oh my, I have a lot to catch up on! School. But now it's my spring break! Oh, this is hilarious! LOL! I love healer Aragorn. :) God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: I love healer Aragorn too--but so often when he's in healer-mode, it's all angsty. I liked the idea of it being a bit humorous for a change, LOL!

I like your choice of "unsavory urges"! LOL Those poor sailors!! Author Reply: Well, I didn't want to go in the "other" direction the prompt suggested! LOL! But yeah, I thought of poor Thorongil having to put on his healer's hat...

Oh this is fun - well not for those with food poisoning! Author Reply: Yes, well, you have a point there, LOL! But I think the rest of us can giggle at their expense...

Not the black draught! Ruthless Thorongil. I'm sure the rest of the crew shared the first mate's amusement, though. Author Reply: *giggle* I can just imagine them thinking they'd rather suffer from their ailment! I'm sure they did--somehow it's always rather amusing to see someone *else* having to endure that sort of misery.

Oh, this one is priceless, Dreamflower! Truly priceless! The black draught, eh? I wish I'd had some of it a time or two to administer to certain children when they were teenagers and had been partaking of things that left them similarly green, and deservedly so. Author Reply: Yep. I didn't even try to imagine what's in it--I figure it's probably got quite a reputation just from it's name and smell, LOL!

Oh, thank you! Aragorn and Urges: chaste and hilarious. Author Reply: *giggle* You're welcome, and *thank you* for the kind words!

Well done! It's not always the fragrance of athelas, is it - sometimes medicine just plain tastes nasty. Author Reply: Sometimes it does. And of course, nasty works better at teaching a lesson, LOL!

Dreamflower, you naughty girl! That title might lead a wandering mind in a different direction. This is a hilarious little image! It does serve the unfortunate sailors right. Of course, the good Captain was also a healer. he would be able to fix them up.But I am sure he was frustrated with them! A fun moment. Author Reply: Well, the titles are taken from the prompts, LOL! So I suppose there could have been another take on it. *shrug* That's not me. It was fun to write, and I could just imagine these sailors later on--I bet none of them had much taste for seafood *after* that!
