| Elrond still did not lose his ability to love The Peredhel was one of the noblest and most selfless beings that Glorfindel had ever met, and it was his privilege to count Elrond as his friend. What a beautiful tribute, and it's a treat to see Elrond through Glorfindel's eyes, heart, and memory. Author Reply: Thank you. I doubt Elrond saw himself that way, but sometimes our closest friends see us in a different light. :) I felt that Glorfindel would see the amazing qualities in Elrond that he did not really see in himself. | |

| How wonderful that Elrond's past is so well and lovingly remembered, and his greatest gift--that of loving with the whole of his heart and seeking to heal the hearts as well as the bodies of others is so celebrated, and by such a one as Glorfindel. Very nice, Misty. Author Reply: Thanks. The fact that Elrond is so able and willing to love from the depths of his heart after all those he has lost is nothing short of amazing to me, and I felt that Glorfindel would agree with me. :) I love writing Elrond. He's one of my favorite characters. | |
