| I love this story! Not only do I get Gimli and Leggy, but I get A BABY TOO! ::beams happily:: Not only that, I get LEGGY and A BABY! LOL! I love how natural Gimli is with the child; it makes him so much more endearing and so very real. The tenderness he has with her is so completely real and I really enjoy that. And God Help the thugs who meet G and L in the forrest! :O More more more! :) | |

| Strange the elf and the dwarf might be - but they're good people to have around in a fight. If anyone can keep the child and her foster family safe, it will be the two of them. Although a patrol of elven warriors at this point wouldn't come amiss. I wonder what the men will think of being in the midst of creatures from legend. Especially if they arrive in the company of the Woodland King. | |

| You know, I thought just a week ago that it was a shame that this story hadn't been updated, and I thought that it had been abandoned, but no today I found a lovely new chapter awaiting me. I loved the banter between Legolas and Gimli, you wrote it perfectly, and I also loved 'Uncle Gimli's' cute soft moment with the baby, that was beautiful. | |

| I adore the bantering between the two friends, and grieve that they must fight to protect this party of Mankind. But if any can do it, Legolas and Gimli will be able to do so. I'm glad they joined the blacksmith's party after all, and hope the aid of other Silvan elves isn't needed. | |
