Heal mentally and perhaps come to realise that it was done out of love. And was one of the harder things that Faramir ever had to do. Although it will take a while. I hope he manages to keep his marbles throughout the trial - and refrains from behaving like his captors. Otherwise he will be driving Arwen away from him. She likes his noble side - but would probably be repelled by a vindictive petty-minded tyrant. We can hope. Author Reply: Thank you for your much appreciated review. I think it was the hardest thing Faramir ever had to do as it almost cost his soul. Arwen is very loyal but would shun a tyrant.

Uh-oh, Aragorn is getting very obsessive, his thoughts turning darker and into the edge of unreason. If Arwen can't help, and the Peredhil, eventually, can't help, then very bad days lie ahead for Aragorn. Good chapter. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I found it very hard to write my beloved Aragorn like this, teetering on the edge of madness.
