| Wise Lily, to get Sam cooking! I loved the description of the herb garden…the sensations and Sam’s emotions were so vivid! It makes me regret all over again that I have no space at my home to plant a real herb garden… And now I want to eat lamb stew and pear pie! I have a bunch of thyme in the fridge, all I have to buy is the rest! | One I delight to read again. Poor Sam--stuck outside the room when he's always been with her before, and having to adjust! Poor lad; but given the right job to do his anxiety is soothed just enough.... Author Reply: Cooking is like medicine indeed.
