Light from the West  by Armariel 2 Review(s)

And so he helps another soul who has been violated much as he was. Indeed Sauron was bent only on his destruction but God was always in charge and if our dear was driven West by the pain of his wounds, he was also driven there by grace. Love his words on how to combat the Enemy. Very good, my dear! You must write, if you haven't already and I just missed it or forgot it, the reunion of Sam and Frodo and how proud Sam is and how very loved he is here even if not yet seen. He's in for a surprise when he arrives and how proud Frodo will be when his brother is drowned in hugs and love by those he's never even met.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: I'm probably going to write the Reunion by and by. Sam does show up in "Anemone" in a little epilogue but that's just for one scene. Yeah, everybody else does it so why not I, what? We'll see, my preciousss!

Yes, Frodo was driven West by pain but it turned out for the good after all, and not just for him. He has become wise and serene, and still learning many things he wouldn't have learned in the Shire, most likely. And he is still a savior and will likely continue to be.

Thanks so much for all your lovely words!

hugs

Yes, there can be much in being a dog--and more in being a lover with such another as the other party.

And another begins to find herself with Iorhael's help.

Author Reply: Yes, a dog with the right master/mistress has it made...and a lover with the right partner much more so. Pity it doesn't happen that way more often. And Iorhael is finding himself far more vital to those around him than he ever dreamed he would, and wouldn't have it any other way, I suspect!
