| Sorry, didn't realize I had missed so many chapters here - this is very good about Frodo's fears of entering the tower because of his memories of that *other* tower. He keeps getting all these clues (and so do his three - four - brothers) that all is not well with him. It'll be a culuminating effect that Arwen is going to be able to see clearly - I've wondered how she could see such brokeness but it is another gift that Iluvatar will give His child. | It would be something difficult to deal with, the idea of going up in a tower after what he's been through. I had him unable to deal with stone stairs also, so I can certainly appreciate this scene. | |

| Poor Frodo! Your writing of him suffering the beginnings of post-traumatic stress is well done. The manner in which you're portraying him, makes it easy to see already how changed a hobbit he is, especially when compared with the other hobbits. Frodo's already being distanced from them, so to speak, even though he himself is confused, knowing he is not quite right, but doesn't know exactly what's wrong either. | Oh, poor Frodo! It would be so hard, I think, to learn to live this new life after all that happened. Very good portrayal of a flashback of sorts. Er, you might want to check the chapter numbers.
