| What a time to admit he's in love, in love, in love with a wonderful girl! (Sorry, couldn't resist....) And Eomer is already claiming superior experience for all he's not thirty while Aragorn's pushing fifty. Heh! Transverse doesn't quite strike me as the word that ought to have been used here, btw. Cross, perhaps. Author Reply: I did wonder if everyone would get this - twisting someone around their little finger may be a uniquely British expression - I am not sure. BTW - I thought Aragorn nearer eighty - but my maths are never good. Thanks for the suggestion about - transverse - I should have sent this to my beta!
