| Perhaps his father was right; perhaps this wasn’t going to be as easy as he’d thought. - Gee, Theodred's finally catching on...maybe! No, these kids are not going to be as easy to control as Riders or even horses. I like the interaction between Renward and the kids - I would think that in the stables, the stable-master is King; and it's nice that he's trying to be kind and helpful to the kids. Eowyn doesn't obey the rules? Why am I not surprised?! I like the way she's written here; an intriguing combination of shyness, sorrow, insecurity and strength of will. I sometimes think that people that haven't been around children very much think that children are easy to control, and kids can really take advantage of those kind of people. :) I'm glad you like Eowyn. I keep reminding myself that she's only seven and she needs to have all of those things you mentioned, all of those up and down moments. | |

| Great first two chapters, Radbooks. I'm wondering though - the second chapter says 'Chapter 6' on it???? Did I miss something. Hope vacation is good and that you get more ideas for this delightful tale. I happen to be a Theodred fan and am enjoying this! Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing, I'm glad that you enjoyed it! The 'Chapter 6' was an error on my part and it has been corrected. I originally was going to keep this as part of the first story and it would have been the 6th chapter. Thanks for pointing that out. I had a wonderful vacation but it's nice to be home again. I'll be posting the next chapter on Monday or Tuesday. There should be 5 chapters in all and 4 of them are finished now. Lots and lots of Theodred coming up for you. :) I never planned on writing a story featuring Theodred, but he's really growing on me. | |
