| Wonderful as ever. I can see the glow of the fire and Faramir's eyes brightened by his friends words, because his heart knows them to be the absolute truth... | It must have been at least slightly painful for Faramir to know, as other men's fathers and kinsmen were acclaimed for glorious deeds during the Ring War, that his own father had gone mad and deserted the Stewardship and burned himself alive. Though I think Faramir would manage to cope with it, and move past it, in the beginning, it had to sting a little. Good attempt to focus on this facet of Denethor's legacy.
